"Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh" (Matthew 24:44).
ARE YOU READY?
Are you ready for the Lord's return? Am I? I can think of no more important question to get settled, can you?
This page contains material and links that wll challenge us to make absolutely sure that we are ready for whatever future lies before us. I believe that we are in the period Jesus called: "the beginning of sorrows [lit. birth pangs]." (Matt. 24:8). And like a woman in travail, whose pains increase with greater intensity and frequency until she gives birth, this earth will also experience evil and natural disasters with ever-increasing intensity and frequency, until "the man of lawlessness, the son of perdition" is revealed. Then, after his brief hour, "the Lord Jesus will overthrow [him] with the breath of His mouth, and destroy [him] by the splendor of His coming" (II Thess. 2:8).
But before that the Man of Lawlessness, or Antichrist, will make war on the "saints" [the Church] and will overcome them (Dan. 7:21). Paul observed in his day that "the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who holds it back will continue to do so until he is taken out of the way; and then the lawless one will be revealed" (II Thess.2:7-8a). I strongly believe that the restraining hand has been removed, and henceforth a great flood of evil is being poured out on the earth. This flood of evil will increase more and more until it culminates in the rise of Antichrist.
A huge majority of Bible-believing, born-again Christians believe that the Church will not go through the Tribulation, that the "saints" who are persecuted during the Tribulation period are not the Church, but people they call "Tribulation saints," who supposedly are converted after the Church is Raptured out of the world. But if you will give the arguments on this site a fair hearing, you will see that this is not the case. I will show beyond reasonable doubt that, insofar as the Bible gives a time for the Rapture, it must be "immediately after the tribulation of those days" (Matt. 24:29-31), as Jesus so plainly says.
Therefore it is of the utmost importance that every believer prepare himself or herself for the terrible times that are coming on the earth and on the Church!
In order to remain faithful to the end we will need to do three things.
1) We must give up the fond hope of being taken out before the real trouble begins and prepare for the worst. I'm not referring to the stockpiling of goods or the gathering together into communes. Though some may choose this course, I doubt that it will avail much.
2) Rather we must learn to live supernaturally, to trust in God alone rather than in "the arm of flesh." We must learn to hear the voice of our Shepherd, follow Him, and "wait on the Lord" for all things.
3) And most important of all we must cultivate lives of individual holiness; we must surrender everything to God and draw very near to Him in love, and (by faith) receive from Him the purity and power necessary to endure victoriously.
were tortured and refused to be released, so that they might
gain a better resurrection. 36 Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison. 37 They were stoned; they were put to the test; they were sawn in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and ill-treated —38 THE WORLD WAS NOT WORTHY OF THEM" (Heb. 11:35-38)
Prophecy given to Dimitru Duduman on July 4, 1991: Be Ready
On the morning of July 4, 1991, I was counseled by the Holy Spirit who told me this: "What l ask of my people is to keep peace in their hearts. I do allow trials to come over them. This is to keep them humble. Do not wait, but try to get closer to God. For hard days are at hand when a powerful darkness will set over this country. Wickedness and sin have reached their end, and the Almighty and Righteous One will take revenge on the sin. Be holy, and draw near the Lord with your life and a clean heart - with fasting and praying - so I can spare you in the days of trouble. The day of the Holy One's terrible wrath is getting close, and everyone will receive their just reward; for God is a righteous judge. Do not be lazy, but come before me on your knees more often."
Afterwards, the Spirit of God encouraged me, telling me to be strengthened because my fight will get harder still, but God will make me more than victorious over everything
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
